The Secret Football has named Cesc Fabregas as the Chelsea player leading a 'mini-revolt' against Jose Mourinho.
In a blog post on TheSecretFootballer.com, it is claimed that Chelsea players 'hate' the team's current style of play and have told their manager so.
I have it on the best authority possible that the players have told the manager that they hate the way they play.
They hate the way they have to sit back against inferior opposition; they hate the way they aren’t allowed to express themselves.
I’m told that Cesc Fabregas is the leader of that mini-revolt. And as a player, you do things like this when you know you are in the right.
You try your luck. Why not?
It’s your way of saying to the manager: “You can either listen to us, and give the go ahead to change and give us what we want, or we’ll keep serving you up the same old shit and embarrass you.”
Fabregas started Saturday's loss to Liverpool on the bench and was taken off at half time in the defeat against West Ham the previous week.
On Sunday, BBC 5 Live presenter Garry Richardson relayed information which, according to him, had come from a Chelsea player.
Apparently the Mourinho's relationship with the Chelsea playing staff is at 'rock bottom', leading one member to make the drastic statement that "I'd rather lose than win for him".
