The English Football Association have condemned violent incidents in Sevilla after footage of fans clashing with police emerged online.
England play Spain tonight in the UEFA Nations League. A significant portion of fans are understood to have travelled for the fixture. Prior to that game, an altercation with riot police emerged online that saw men brandish tables and chairs. There were no reports of serious injuries or arrests.
The FA have released a statement and promised to investigate and sanction perpetrators
We condemn the unacceptable behaviour witnessed in Seville. With the Spain fixture still to come on Monday night, we urge those following the team to respect our hosts and act in a responsible manner.
The FA will work in partnership with the UK Football Policing Unit to help identify those involved and we will sanction any England Supporters' Travel Club member found to be responsible for disorder.
There was a similar incident earlier this year before England played the Netherlands in Amsterdam which saw the FA issue lifelong bans.
