Scarcely offering the same lustre as it once did, the FA Cup 3rd round draw nevertheless provides a source of some intrigue as England's biggest club enter the fold.

After last season's dour FA Cup final between Manchester United and Chelsea finished 1-0 in favour of the London club, for all that the Cup has been relegated to being of lesser importance, it's five years since any club outside of the Premier League's top-six has managed to win the trophy.

With the league itself looking somewhat more competitive than this time last season, there nevertheless remains a general feeling that Manchester City - barring a calamity - will once again lay claim to the Premier League.

If so, it would appear to ensure that the FA Cup should be afforded greater importance for managers seeking any notable trophy at all. However, as was typified by Conte last season, or Louis van Gaal in 2016, winning the Cup is scarcely any guarantee at this stage.

With that in mind, below is a full breakdown of the FA Cup 3rd round draw for the 2018/19 season.
