Ronan Curtis was once again on the scoresheet for Portsmouth as Kenny Jackett's side secured a 3-0 victory over Plymouth Argyle in Saturday's League One game.
Curtis netted the opener after just four minutes before adding a second with a stunning strike into the top right corner.
Curtis featured for the Irish U21s earlier this year and signed a deal to join Portsmouth after impressing with Derry City in the Airtricity League. It was reported that he signed a two-year deal for a fee in the region of £100,000 at the time. Since then he has hit a superb patch of form which has seen him score five crucial goals in three games.
Capable of playing as both a winger or striker, Curtis scored twice to help Pompey overcome Blackpool last month before netting a late winner against Bristol Rovers last week. The 22-year-old has kicked on to already become a fan favourite amongst the Fratton Park faithful.

Speaking to The Portsmouth News after he signed, Curtis admitted he had his sights set on a call-up to Martin O'Neill's squad in the near future.
That’s my ambition – to keep going, play as many games as I can for Portsmouth and then, hopefully, the Republic of Ireland team comes in and I’ll play for my country. That is my aim. It’s every footballer’s dream to play for their country.
