Droylsden played Chorley in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League today. During the game, as his side were 10-1 down and his bets had failed him in the Grand National, the Droylsden social media guy tweeted asking "could this day get any worse?! Anyone had a worse day?"

One of the replies he received was from his Chorley counterpart, who was having a much better day.
