Former Rangers chairman Craig Whyte has been arrested today in Mexico. He is being detained by police as part of an investigation into his takeover of Rangers in 2011.
The crown office is now looking to secure his extradition so he can appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
Whyte bought Rangers for £1 off David Murray in 2011. In February 2012, the club entered administration.
Whyte - he of Craig Whyte's Fenian Aremy - has already asserted he is willing to return to police with their inquiries.
Here is a BBC documentary which explores the issues surrounding Whyte's takeover and Rangers subsequent fall into administration.
