Everyone Hates Joey Barton

Joey Barton didn't have an easy upbringing, brought up by his grandmother in a few different estates in Liverpool his undoubted talent led him into the world of professional football. Nevertheless Joey Barton is a complete and utter prick.

March 2007 - Arrested on suspicion with assault and criminal damage and eventually charged with criminal damage to a taxi

May 2007 - Suspended by Man City for a training pitch assault on teammate, ends up in court over this incident but is spared jail

Dec 2007 - arrested for assault in Liverpool city centre, ends up admitting to assault and affray and is jailed for six months at Liverpool Crown Court.

Update - Newcastle United midfielder Joey Barton has today been charged with violent conduct by The FA, following an incident in his side’s fixture with Blackburn Rovers on Wednesday 10 November.
