It's your favourite kind of wish-fulfillment psuedo-news: TRANSFERS.
Some of these will probably happen, many won't.
Marco Silva has finally been appointed by Everton, having spent a few months in exile while Big Sam Allardyce kept his seat warm. And much like Sam, Silva seems to have a penchant for shopping at his former clubs, with the club reportedly on the verge of signing Watford's Brazilian attacker Richarlison for, um, £50 million. Richarlison has talent, but he hasn't scored a goal since last November and hasn't even set one up since December, but perhaps all parties are confident that Silva can coax a bit more efficiency from the attacker.
Elsewhere, Everton are also interested in signing left-back Lucas Digne from Barcelona, which could spell bad news for current left-backs Leighton Baines and the largely hopeless Cuco Martina, memorably referred to as Coco Martinez by Allardyce last season.
In other news, Marca report that Jasper Cillesen has become fed up with the Barcelona bench and wants out, with *splurts coffee over screen* SIMON MIGNOLET among Barca's potential replacements. The Belgian 'keeper is probably third choice at Anfield now, behind Alisson and Loris Karius, so is expected to leave the club in the summer. If he ends up at Barca, however, we'd be amazed. Marca are largely loyal to Real Madrid, so perhaps it is all a cunning plan on their part to lumber Barcelona with a very dodgy 'keeper.
More concrete is Barcelona's interest in Willian of Chelsea: they have reportedly had a bid of £55 million knocked back by Chelsea. The club have a bit of money to spend, what with Antoine Griezmann's decision to stay at Atleti.
The Star report that Everton and Spurs both want to sign Wilfried Zaha, with both willing to offer a player in sacrifice: Yannick Bolasie and Moussa Sissoko respectively.
