Everton fans have been waiting for the final confirmation that Ronald Koeman will be their new manager for what seems like a year. The announcement has been dragging on and on, so you can imagine the thrill when they see the official twitter account of their club tweet the words "NEWS ALERT".

But the news had nothing to do with Koeman; in fact - it was about their oft-injured Irish midfielder Darron Gibson:

Gibson only made 11 appearances in all competitions for Everton last season through injury, but he's still rated very highly by the higher ups in Everton. No doubt Trapattoni will be pleased.
Needless to say, Everton fans aren't joining Trap in praising the move. They are an impatient bunch. They weren't overly happy with their club's reluctance to confirm Koeman's capture.
