A twitter account with a very good reputation for accuracy regarding the transfer dealings of Everton have today claimed that Celtic are in talks to re-sign Irish international Aiden McGeady for a cut-price fee of £1m.

Celtic sold Aiden McGeady initially for £9.5m, so to get him back for £1m would represent great business, although any potenital deal is still very much in the "rumour" category at the moment. Nevertheless, many Everton fans have voiced their opinion on McGeady through twitter and they are clearly eager to see him leave their club.

Well then... Everton fans do not like Aiden McGeady. If you thought Irish fans gave him a hard time, you clearly aren't a season ticket holder at Goodison Park.

Do you think a return to Glasgow would be a good move for McGeady?
He clearly isn't involved in Everton's future plans judging by their activity in the transfer market this summer, so perhaps regular first-team football is what he should be seeking at this stage of his career.
