It broke over the last couple of days that Manchester United had finally secured the transfer of Romelu Lukaku from Everton. Wayne Rooney went the other way, and an official announcement from United is expected in the next week.
Obviously, when you're trying to get a scoop out quickly, some things are left slip through the editing net at a newspaper. That very thing happened to the Herald, but it was a glaring error.
They led with the headline: LUKAKU IS READY FOR WORK. The problem was, the headline was accompanied by a picture of UK Grime artist Stormzy.
We're not kidding:
The Evening Herald have printed a photo of @Stormzy1 thinking he's @RomeluLukaku9. Oh my pic.twitter.com/5kh15VFdxB

Someone's getting sacked for that. Stormzy is great friends with Lukaku's new team mate Paul Pogba - but that doesn't excuse the paper.
While it's not official yet, Lukaku said goodbye and thank you to Everton fans on his Instagram this morning
The deal is reportedly valued at between £70,000,000 - £90,000,000, and seems to confirm that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will not sign a new deal with the Red Devils before the end of the transfer window.
