Evan Ferguson completed his move from Brighton to West Ham in the January window, and is eager to play his first game for The Hammers.
The Ireland international burst onto the scene as a teenager, scoring important goals for Brighton, but injuries and a dip in form have stalled his career somewhat.
Graham Potter, who gave Ferguson his Premier League debut, is now the West Ham manager, and it looks like he could give him his debut for the new club this weekend.
The irishman returned from a lengthy injury spell to feature in Brighton's 7-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest, but under his old boss, and at a new team, he will be hoping to rediscover his form.
Potter has revealed that the sharp shooter is performing well in training, and he is excited about his prospects at the London side.

"He's trained well - he hasn't played loads of football recently, so we have to be careful with that.
"He's shown his quality, is ready to help the team and we feel he'll just get better and better."
Sammie Szmodics made his return from injury against Coventry in a 4-1 win in the FA Cup, but had to be taken off just 35 minutes.
The Ireland star had been coming back from an ankle injury, and it seemed to be bothering him again during his comeback to full fitness, however Ipswich manager Kieran McKenna says that he isn't ruled out of contention against Aston Villa this weekend.

If both Ferguson and Szmodics made a return, then it spells good news for Ireland fans who want to see their best players fit and firing for their clubs.
The next international break is just around the corner, and Heimir Hallgrimsson will be looking to choose his panel from a fully fit roster.
