The Footage Of The Full Mourinho/Carneiro Argument Does Not Make Jose Look Good

The major talking point from Chelsea's opening day 2-2 draw at home to Swansea was not the fact that the heavy favourites for the title coming in to the season were held to a draw by a great effort from Gary Monk's men, but instead an incident on the sideline between Jose Mourinho and his medical staff.

All week we have heard heavy criticism of Mourinho's decision to ban physio Eva Carneiro from the touchline for Chelsea matches going forward, from pundits, doctors, and fans alike, and now that video footage of the argument has surfaced courtesy of Sky Sports, it does not paint "The Special One" in a very good light.

After being waved on to the referee, Carneiro does what literally every physio would do in that situation, and treat the player. This sparks a furious rant from Mourinho, who was clearly tense due to chasing a late winner, but it really does seem like he has just taken his frustration out on Carneiro.

The issue should be with Hazard going down if it wasn't serious, as the physio can hardly judge that from the touchline, especially when the ref has beckoned her onto the pitch.

The public criticism and subsequent punishment of Eva Carneiro is pretty shameful from Jose.
