Group F - it's been a long weekend of hanging around for Portugal, Austria, Iceland and Hungary. It might not be the sexiest group in the tournament but there is some betting interest with Cristiano Ronaldo favourite for top scorer and Austria strongly fancied as a tournament darkhorse.
Our Prophets for Profit - the Sunday Independent's and ESPN's Miguel Delaney and Nathan Murphy of Newstalk - conclude their group by group preview with their €200 in charity bets from Ladbrokes.
Are Portugal any good? Here's what they think:
Neither of the lads were too keen on Portugal, opting not to put any of their charity money on Ronaldo. The buzz around Group F was all for Austria with Miguel throwing €30 of his charity on them reaching the semi finals at 20/1
While both of our Prophets agree that Hungary may be the worst team in the tournament and Iceland should qualify from the group, only one more bet was made from Group F, and it's the biggest outsider of the entire series. Nathan threw €10 on Iceland's Gyfi Sigurdsson to finish as tournament top goalscorer at 150/1. Surely worth a punt in after a first round when no player managed more than one goal.
So, with the groups taken care of, there was still some other bets for the lads to take of to use up their €200
Don't forget we'll be catching up with Miguel and Nathan every Friday during the tournament on our special daily Euros podcast. There's already been some successful bets after the first round of games.
