The draw Gods of Infantino and Trezeguet weren't very kind to Northern Ireland in their first ever appearance at a European Championships. Or have they? Other than World Champions Germany, is there really anything to worry about from Poland and Ukraine?
Continuing our group by group preview with Ladbrokes, our Prophets for Profit - the Sunday Independent's and ESPN's Miguel Delaney and Nathan Murphy of Newstalk - have had a look at where some of the value might lay in Group C and have finally picked up the pace on spending some of the €200 in charity bets given to them by Ladbrokes for the tournament.
Does The North's 12 game unbeaten run, the longest of any team in the tournament, mean nothing to these old cynics?
Obviously not. Miguel took the bait on Northern Ireland not scoring a goal at 3/1, and was convinced that they would draw 0-0 with Ukraine, even going on to call it a banker - a banker that can be got at 6/1!
Probably the weirdest bet of the tournament so far was Miguel throwing a fiver on Germany's Lucas Podolski for top scorer of the tournament at 150/1. Nathan also picked a tip scorer from this group with the far more realistic Robert Lewandowski at 11/1
Groups D, E and F to come over the weekend and if you missed Groups A and B over the last couple of days, you can find them here.
Don't forget we'll be catching up with Miguel and Nathan every Friday during the tournament on our special daily Euros podcast.
