FPL players are nine weeks into the season and it's fair to say that Erling Haaland hasn't sparked into life in the way that most would have expected.
Last season, the Norwegian was a revelation for Fantasy Premier League players, racking up a whopping 272 points courtesy of 36 goals and nine assists.
This season however, the Manchester City striker's returns are failing to living up to his record-equalling £14m price tag, leaving many to consider whether it's time to do the unthinkable and take him out of their squad.
This might sound ridiculous to some, considering that Haaland is currently sitting atop the Premier League goalscoring charts with nine strikes to his name at the time of writing.
However, three of those goals came in one game against Fulham and there have been a whole pile of missed chances since that hat-trick on September 2nd.

FPL players losing faith in Haaland
Despite his lofty price tag, Haaland has been owned by the vast majority of FPL players since the beginning of the season, but a quick look at the 'transfers out' statistics ahead of Gameweek 10 indicates that many are losing faith.
The big man is the fourth-most sold player this week at the time of writing, with nearly 180,000 now seemingly spreading that £14 million across the rest of the team.
Must-have players have emerged in recent weeks, most notably Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins, who is in sensational form and has nice run of fixtures starting with Luton Town at home this Sunday.
Tottenham Hotspur pairing James Maddison and Son Heung-Min continue to rack up the points, with Jarrod Bowen doing likewise at West Ham.
Even Haaland's teammate Julian Alvarez is looking like better value for money at the minute, while Kieran Trippier is looking like the pick of the premium defenders.
Haaland will burst into life at some point very soon, and did score a brace against Young Boys in the Champions League on Wednesday.
But given his output in the Premier League, that extra 14 million looks like it could be used nicely to fill a few gaps elsewhere.
What about the fixtures?
Of course, in the case of selling Haaland, a lot depends on the fixtures.
City have a tricky-looking looking Manchester derby at Old Trafford this weekend before plum home game against Bournemouth the following week.
While many are getting rid of Haaland this week, that game against the Cherries looks too good to be without the forward.
Perhaps a one-week punt on Watkins could be the way to go, but with games against Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham also coming up for City, those who going without Haaland until the Christmas period may find that it's a gamble worth taking.
The second Wildcard will become active ahead of the New Year, allowing anyone regretting their actions to bring Haaland right back into the fold.
