While there is still a sizeable portion of the season remaining, it's fair to say that Manchester United fans are thrilled with the way the campaign has gone so far under Erik ten Hag.
The club have bounced back from a disastrous 2021/22 season to get back into the top four conversation, with the team looking likely to secure Champions League football for next year. As well as that, they lifted the Carabao Cup and remain in contention for more silverware in the FA Cup and Europa League.
Should things do to plan in the weeks ahead, there is no doubt that ten Hag will be looking to kick on this summer. That will mean some incomings in the transfer market, although it is likely that a number of players will also be on their way out of Old Trafford.
Erik ten Hag looking to offload a number of Manchester United players
According to Mail Sport, Erik ten Hag is looking to offload up to 13 members of the Manchester United squad this summer as the club look to adhere to FFP guidelines.
The likes of Harry Maguire, Anthony Elanga, Donny van de Beek, Brandon Williams, and Anthony Martial are among those who could be moved on. As well as that, it seems unlikely that Alex Telles or Eric Bailly will return to Old Trafford after their respective loan spells.
Facundo Pellistri will also be allowed to leave on loan for next season after signing a new deal. It is thought that Wout Weghorst and Marcel Sabitzer, both of whom are at the club on loan, are unlikely to be signed on a permanent basis.
Maguire, Wan-Bissaka, and Martial are the headline names among that group, with all three players having arrived at United for massive transfer fees. It remains to be seen how much of that initial outlay could be recouped in any deals, although you'd imagine the club are set to make a significant loss.
This would be the latest example of Erik ten Hag moulding the squad to his liking, with some of those potential departures likely to split opinion among supporters.
It will certainly be an interesting summer ahead.
