One of English football's most successful player/manager relationships, Eric Cantona has sent a public message of support to the former Manchester United boss, Alex Ferguson.
Currently recuperating after being admitted to hospital over the weekend, Cantona's video message came via Eurosport.
Talking about "this friend of mine [who] is not doing so well," the Frenchman describes how Ferguson "nurtured" him, and "never judged" him.
Celebrated for his treatment of the often volatile, unpredictable Cantona, during his spell at Manchester United, the former Leeds United man was decisive in United's early Premier League dominance.
Assuring viewers that Ferguson "is such a fighter", that he will come through, you can watch the video below.
