Manchester United fans are absolutely loving what they have seen from Eric Bailly so far.
The summer recruit was a relative unknown when his signing from Villarreal was confirmed, but he has wasted absolutely no time in winning the fans over with his no-nonsense tackling, composure on the ball, lightning pace... And the fact that he's a little bit mental.
There is a theory developing that he inherited his eccentricity from the #3 shirt that was vacated by Patrice Evra, which would also explain why Luke Shaw gave up the #3 shirt after just one season to move back to #23, he just couldn't handle it, but Bailly has done the number justice judging by his activity today on Twitter.
One of the highlights of Manchester United's win over Hull City was the wild celebrations (where Marouane Fellaini made himself a hero) purely for Eric Bailly's arrival on the scene...
The man himself saw the clip, and he reacted with emojis:

They guy is bonkers. That's what the fans want to see.
Sliding in like an eejit because you're so delighted with the three points.
This, of course, is not Bailly first wonderfully weird celebration, as he went over-the-top when United took the Community Shield home with a 2-1 win over Leicester:
It's all well and good being a character, but you need to have something about your game to make the fans really take to you and, thankfully for him, Bailly does.
He looks to be a fantastic signing, and his partnership with Daley Blind has been so successful early on that Chris Smalling cannot seem to get back into the team, something that would have been considered unthinkable at the end of last season.
It's still early days, but the big Ivorian appears to be a massive hit already.
