Eoghan O'Connell - like Joe 'The second last man to beat Conor McGregor' Duffy and 'Rory McIlroy love interest' Nadia Forde - is about to enter the unwanted nickname hall of fame.
He is the cousin of Paul O'Connell - the Irish rugby international. Whatever else he does in his career, unless it's Roy Keane-esque, he will probably be known as Paul O'Connell's cousin.
The Celtic player, who just returned from four months on loan at Cork City, scored a beauty for his side in their International Champions Cup friendly against Leicester City.
O'Connell started at centre-back for Brendan Rodgers against Leicester.
After Scott Brown had a shot blocked, the ball came to O'Connell on the edge of the box. He ushered teammates out of his way before curling a super shot past Kasper Schmeichel.
Apart from his goal, O'Connell also had a solid game at the back for Celtic.
So #Celtic must be content with one point. But big bonus was display of Eoghan O'Connell.Goal & pen apart, he looked assured & able.

Earlier in the second half, Riyad Mahrez had given Leicester the lead with a brilliant strike.

Leicester won the game after a penalty shootout. Though O'Connell did manage to score one of Celtic's sport kicks.
