The good news is that we've made it to the end of the Premier League season and neither Shane Long nor Darren Randolph have suffered any serious injuries. The bad news is that we still have two more weeks of guessing and second guessing who's going to make the final 23 man squad.
That's the way that Martin O'Neill has decided to do it and we'll respect his wisdom but it's starting to get a little bit annoying watching the rest of Europe name their final squads while we're still scratching our arses and wondering if Simon Cox really is out of the reckoning or if O'Neill is just double bluffing and putting up a smoke screen to trick the Belgian/Italian/Swedish defence.
But enough of that, England are the latest team to name their Euro 2016 squad and we're already feeling sorry for Roy Hodgson and all the crap he's going to have to deal with despite the fact that he's doing a rather decent job at the moment.
Having said all that, he has decided to bring Andros Townsend along to France so make of that what you will.
Alongside Townsend, Marcus Rashford is also there while Theo Walcott misses out. It must be said however that this is a 26 man squad so Hodgson will have to cut three players before the final deadline.
