The end is nigh. After high hopes back in mid August, Mark and Mikey find themselves utterly disenchanted with Fantasy Football. It is an arc that many go through (Mark, for instance, somehow believed that he would come 1st in the entire country a couple of months back and took the realisation that he wouldn't very badly), buzz and excitement early on, followed by crushing reality, and then subsequently shoulder shrugging apathy.
The social services are going to have to take over the running of Mikey's team as he has been neglecting it for a couple of weeks now.
The Fantasy Football podcast is mutating too - indeed it is changing entirely. Fantasy football will be merely a segment in the new podcast, which will be more wide ranging in it's focus.
