The former Arsenal fullback signed for Sunderland today after being invited to train with the club nearly a month ago.

Nobody has ever been that happy to pitch up in the north east of England before.
The Ivorian has signed with Sam Allardyce's club after being released by Galatasaray last year. He joined the Turkish club from Arsenal in 2011, spending four seasons in the Turkish Super Lig.
