Barcelona hammered Chelsea 4-0 in Sunday's Women's Champions League final in Gothenburg.
Following the game, Barcelona captain Vicky Losada raced through the Gamla Ullevi stadium to find her girlfriend, the former Ireland international goalkeeper, Emma Byrne.
The Kildare native was working with Barca TV for the game.
"I am fortunate to be able to embrace a person who is and has always been by my side, supporting me in a very hard year for me, always putting up with everything, giving me wise advice and valuing me as a professional and a person," Losada wrote on Twitter.
"Thank you for taking care of me and loving me. I love you @emmsb30."
Sunday's win was Barca's first Champions League title. Losada, who first joined the Catalan side as a 14-year-old, was also captain when they lost their first final 4-1 to Lyon in 2019.

Byrne - who spent 23 years as Ireland's number one keeper, winning 134 caps - is also a Champions League winner. She was in goal for Arsenal when they beat Swedish side Umeå over two legs in 2007 to win what was then known as the UEFA Women's Cup.
Sunday's game was the first time an English side had reached the final since Arsenal's victory.
