More details have surfaced today about the death of footballer Emiliano Sala. The Argentinian footballer and his pilot David Ibbotson were flying to the UK from France when their plane crashed off the coast of Guernsey.

Flight investigators have today revealed that Sala was 'exposed to harmful levels of carbon monoxide' inside the cockpit. They said it was highly likely that similar had happened to the pilot.

According to investigators, there was enough carbon monoxide on the plane to 'cause seizures, unconsciousness and a heart attack'.
