Arsenal have won the FA Cup for a record 14th time, with Mikel Arteta managing to finish his first season as a manager with a trophy.
It was a game that Chelsea had the best of early on, taking the lead through Christian Pulisic. From here, it was all Arsenal.
Pierre-Emerick Aubuameyang scored a brace to give them the lead, and once Matteo Kovacic was sent off late on, you had the feeling it would be their day.
Aubameyang was the star, but goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez put in another solid performance in goal. He has been at Arsenal for a decade, but it was only after Berndt Leno's injury after the season resumed that he was finally given a run in the team.
He spoke before the game about what it meant to get the opportunity to play in a cup final after all this time, and that emotion spilled over after the final whistle.
Speaking to the BBC in his pot-match interview, he broke down in tears when trying to sum up what this meant to him and his family.

Now 27-years old, Martinez has had six different loan spells during his time at Arsenal, taking in spells at the likes of Rotherham, Getafe, and Reading. He now ends the season as an FA Cup winner.
Fair play to him.
