Eamon Dunphy has had a rough few hours. The Irish broadcasting stalwart has once again landed himself at the centre of controversy after dropping the f-bomb three times during RTE's coverage of the World Cup last night.
After going to an ad break, the programme returned with Dunphy apologising for using the 'unfortunate' four-letter word, explaining that he didn't know the show was back on air. Dunphy has been doing radio interviews all morning explaining his slip-up.
Sure the whole situation is very amusing but the truth is this it could have happened to anyone. So before the broadcasting elite get on their high horses they should check out this selection of videos of people accidentally swearing on live TV. Fuckin' everyone makes a mistake now and again.
Rudeness From RTE Racing
Even Dunphy's RTE colleagues are prone to making the odd slip-up or two as this video of Ted Walsh using rather unsavoury language shows.
Footballers Talkin' Shit
In keeping with the theme of excrement, Freddie Ljungberg made a memorable appearance on Match of the Day 2 in which he casually threw the profanity into a sentence.
In our turd example of the use of the word, Mario Balotelli was alittle bit more apprehensive about swearing on live TV. This didn't dissuade him from doing it anyway.
On the other end of the spectrum, former Juventus midfielder Edgar Davids shows he could not care less about BBC's standards and practices policy in this clip.
Baseball Blooper
As nonchalant as Edgar Davids was about saying expletives on live TV, he is nothing compared to pitcher Ervin Santana. Check out how coolly the 2008 MLB All-Star delivers the f-bomb.

Absolute Filth From Sky Sports News
Cursing for emphasis isn't generally encouraged by TV stations. However, this German football analyst may have been pardoned for this extremely effective obscenity when describing the physical presence of Arsenal's towering defender Per Mrtesacker
Well, I guess that's one way to win a golf tournament!
How To Undermine Serious News
It's not just sports personalities who unintentionally broadcast obscenities to thousands and sometimes, millions of viewers. American news channels are an endless resevoir of broadcasting bloopers.
