Eamonn Dunphy appeared on Talksport last week, speaking to Richard Keys and Andy Gray about Giovanni Trapattoni's reign as Ireland manager and talking up Martin O'Neill as his replacement.
Highlights include suggesting that Trap based his opinion of the Irish team around "the last match of Steve Staunton's reign" the 5-2 defeat to Cyprus (it was the far more respectable 1-1 home draw against the same opposition); saying that O'Neill won't have any issues with sectarianism (not least because he's Catholic anyway); and laughing that O'Neill once successfully sued him for "30, 40 grand" over a joke he'd made on tv.
