Eamon Dunphy's stirring shit again.

This time the loose-lipped RTE pundit offended the entire rugby world during RTE's coverage of the Italy v Uruguay world cup Group D game last night.

The panel was discussing Luis Suarez trying to take a bite out of Italy's Giorgio Chiellini when the controversial football pundit insinuated that unsportsmanlike behaviour was rampant in rugby. Dunphy cited biting, eye-gouging and "holding people in sensitive parts of their body" as examples of cheating that, according to him, was to be found in rugby.

The RTE stalwart then implied that rugby is a brainless sport by claiming that this sort of foul play that people associate with "an intelligent game like soccer".

Dunphy's a brave man agitating people involved in a sport that is primarily played by behemoths with a penchant for causing pain. Was he being a little bit facetious?
