While RTÉ panel were discussing the quality of the Premier League at the moment, Kenny Cunningham suggested Tottenham as a team who could make ripples in the Champions League next season. Eamon Dunphy was having none of it though, asking Cunningham if he had seen the game against Liverpool at the weekend and questioning the quality of the defending for the the second and third Liverpool goals.
Dunphy then managed to get a sly dig in at Liverpool as he quipped, "if they [Spurs] were playing a proper team..."
