The Times are reporting that should the bid prove successful the firm are hopeful to construct a new stadium with a 7,500 capacity as well as construct new schoolboy structures that could make the club self-sufficient.
Reports in today's Mirror claim current owners Paul Browne and Andy Connolly will remain involved as part owners and on Dundalk's board should the move prove successful.
The co-owner of Peak6 is Matt Hulsizer, who also owns a share of National Hockey League team Minnesota Wild.
Dundalk lost out to Cork City in both the League and Cup this year and were dealt a further blow when Cork City midfielder, who was widely reported to be on the cusp of joining the club, announced he was staying on at Cork:

It is thought the firm were attracted to the club after seeing their progress last year through the Europa League. Dundalk won the league in 2014, 2015 and 2016. They currently play home games at Oriel Park, which has undergone significant improvements since 2005 with a new stand, changing area, bar and all-weather surface on the pitch. Since November 2016 they have taken full lease of the stadium.
Interesting times for the Lilywhites.
