It was deja vu for both Dundalk and Bohs at Oriel Park on Monday night. Just as he had done five weeks ago, Patrick Hoban scored a penalty deep into injury time to give Dundalk victory against the Dublin side.
In the 94th minute, Dean Jarvis was fouled in the box by Andy Lyons. Hoban stepped to the separate the sides and keep Dundalk level on points with Shamrock Rovers at the top of the Premier Division.
Bohs had taken the lead after just two minutes through Daniel Grant. That was an advantage they maintained until the 66 minute when Georgie Kelly found an equaliser after confusion in the Bohs box following a corner.
In between, Bohs had been reduced to ten men. Ryan Graydon, who had come on as a substitute shortly before half-time, was booked twice in the space of nine minutes after the break.
It was Dundalk's third win in the last five weeks against Bohs.
