Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool are, in many ways, two clubs cut from the same cloth.
The German giants and Merseyside club are inextricably linked far beyond their shared anthem - indeed, both sets of fans were said to have socialised together and even 'swapped scarves' ahead of their Europa League quarter-final first leg last week, before belting out a rendition of You'll Never Walk Alone that will likely go down in the folklore of each club.
Back in 2014, on the 25th anniversary of the Hillsborough Disaster, 'die Schwarzgelben' paid special tribute at the Westfalenstadion to the 96 people who lost their lives during the tragic incident, and the travelling German fans are planning something similar for when they take their seats at the Anfield Road end for the second leg.
Friday marks the 27th anniversary of Hillsborough, and according to the Liverpool Echo, the 3,000-strong away support will hold up a specially-designed mosaic spelling out "96," in Dortmund's traditional black and yellow.
It promises to be some sight, and it's a nice gesture from the Dortmund fans who have become famous for similar tributes over the years.
The German fans have also been invited to Friday's memorial service at Anfield - the final one ever to be held at the stadium.
