The latest viral social media craze dividing the internet has now made its way into the realm of football.
The online world has been in intense debate over whether there are more doors or wheels in the world. Even Crystal Palace have weighed in on it.
Doors Or Wheels ?
The origin of the question was a tweet from user Richard Nixon, when he asked “Me and my mates are having the STUPIDEST debate in the world. And I am here from it. Do you think there are more doors or wheels in the world?”.
An impressive 223,347 people voted in the poll he created, with 53.6% voting in favour of doors.
The question, while inherently pointless, random, and silly, has people debating it as if they were in a very serious manner.
Some of the arguments brought forth include points like ‘Barbie makes cars but Hot Wheels don’t make houses’, ‘the amount of wheelie shoes in the world’, while people are questioning whether valves count as wheels and do drawers count as doors?
what about doll house doors and playhouse doors

Today, Crystal Palace's social media team released a video of members of their squad giving their opinions to the intriguing question.
Most of the players interviewed seem to think that there were more doors, while Christian Benteke and goalkeeper Jack Butland looked rather annoyed that the interviewer didn’t have a definitive answer to give them.
"How can you ask me a question if you don't know the answer?" Benteke asks, rightly.
The debate seems to be the biggest pointless question phenomenon since the great ‘what colour is my dress’ argument that took over the internet in 2015. That particular craze stemmed from an argument a woman had with her daughter over whether her dress was white and gold or blue and black.
