Dimitar Berbatov always strikes one as a fan of improvment, both of the self and of the collective.
He taught himself English by watching The Godfather and is a talented caricaturist.
He further revolutionised the concept of team morale at Fulham by revealing this t-shirt:

Berbatov has now turned his talents to the field of journalism. George Orwell, a writer you imagine Berbatov reads, has said that in a world of deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.
It is in that pursuit of truth that Berbatov took the ground-breaking journalistic stance of interviewing himself on his Facebook page in a bid to get across the truth of his red card for PAOK against AEK Athens:
It's the most self-referential act in football since Leicester midfielder Danny Drinkwater drank some water.

Hopefully we will see more of these examples of footballers, as directed by Charlie Kaufman.
