Diego Poyet's Twitter account has come back to bite him in the arse again and this time, Andy Carroll has taken exception (albeit lightheartedly) to Poyet's previously gung-ho trigger finger.
Shortly after signing for the Upton Park club, Poyet, son of Sunderland manager Gus, upset West Ham fans when a tweet from his time at Charlton surfaced online. Well those pesky screenshots are at him again and this time there's been consequences from inside the Upton Park dressing room (or maybe the treatment room).
Feel stupid for the tweets I made when I was 16, the big mans going to kill me!! Sorry @AndyTCarroll ???? pic.twitter.com/PgUAfKG3v8

A big thanks to @diegopoyet7 for agreeing to make my morning cuppa every morning for the next month!! ??????

The offending tweets all stem from Carroll's rather unfortunate spell at Liverpool and his West Ham teammate Stewart Downing wasn't spared from Poyet's stinging critique either.
Unless there's anymore twitter skeletons hanging in his closet, we can only assume that Poyet's Twitter account will be a tad more reserved from now on.
