Behold, Diego Costa!
In these days of egregious turmoil and tumult, it is oddly comforting to know that some people never change. Heroes we didn't know that we needed, but deliver for us nonetheless.
Costa made his to La Liga today with Atletico Madrid against Getafe, and did so in characteristically mad style. At half-time, Costa had to be escorted down the tunnel by goalkeeper Jan Oblak having caused somewhat of a skirmish.
He returned in the second half, and just after the hour mark, he picked up his first yellow card for this flailing elbow:
And then, six minutes later, he scored! Sadly, his exuberance took him into the fans, and he fell foul to a moronic rule. The referee brandished a second yellow, and Costa was off.
