Diego Cavalieri and Roy Hodgson briefly spent time together at Anfield - Liverpool fans have forgotten one of them and probably wish they could forget the other.

Cavalieri was among the retinue of second-choice 'keepers signed by Rafa Benitez as an understudy to Pepe Reina, a group which also includes such luminaries as Charles Itandje and Daniele Padelli.
