This is a good discussion that took place on Football Focus about footballers christmas parties. Didi Hamann said that during his time at Newcastle he was a given a "banned German book" as a present. Possibly Mein kampf? Mark Lawrenson also tells a story of Jim Beglin Getting sick on the bus the day after a Liverpool christmas party. Poor show Jim, perhaps he would have been better suited to the German style christmas party that Hamann describes.
