Juventus 2-2 Galatasaray

Comedy defending from Juventus, including from Gianluigi Buffon, allowed Didier Drogba to open the scoring for Gala in Turin.

Real Madrid 4-0 FC Copenhagen 

Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice, as did Angel di Maria, but the pick of the goals saw them both combine for Real Madrid's second. Clever intricate play from Madrid allowed Ronaldo to head home powerful.

Bayer Leverkusen 2-1 Real Sociedad

Simon Rolfes put Leverkusen ahead in the first half, and Carlos Vela equalised with a rebound from his own missed penalty, but the Germans won the game with this last minute free kick courtesy of Jens Hegeler.

CSKA Moscow 3-2 Viktoria Plzen

Plzen goalkeeper, Matúš Kozá?ik, had a moment to forget as he gifted CSKA their third goal and it proved to be the defining moment of the game as the Russians won by a solitary goal.
