Derry City player Joshua Daniels lost his mother and a sister in the tragedy in Buncrana over the weekend.
His mother Ruth (57) and his sixteen-year-old sister Jodie-Lee died in the accident at Buncrana pier. Ruth's grandsons Mark (12) and Evan (8) and her son-in-law Sean (46) were the other victims in the tragic accident.
Daniels (20) was brought to Derry City by manager Kenny Shiels. He featured in Friday's 2-1 win over Galway United after coming on from the bench.
