Bray Wanderers' chairman Dennis O'Connor was on Soccer Republic on Monday night to discuss the recent turbulent events at the club.
Asked what were his future plans for Bray, O'Connor said that "strong players" would require recruiting to transform the club into a top half side.
We have got to get the right management and the right players in. This is no reflection on the current players. We're going to have to get some strong players in and use that to, my ambition this season is to finish in the top half of the league but next year go much higher and be ready for it.
It was this line about "strong players" in particular which upset some of the current playing staff.
So we are not good enough??? Sound
