During Saturday night's 0-0 draw between Ireland and Denmark, Christian Eriksen stood on the Parken Stadium pitch probably thinking something along the lines of, 'Maybe I should have been a doctor like father wanted'.
It was a frustrating evening for Eriksen as the Irish defence cut his supply line and narrowed the space in which he had to work. Last night was a very much different experience for the Spurs midfielder, pretty much having the freedom of the Aviva as Ireland went searching for a goal.
Post-match, Eriksen was among those to celebrate World Cup qualification by soaking former international teammate Lars Jacobsen live on Eurosport.
Jacobsen, who retired from international football in 2015, played for Everton, Blackburn and West Ham among others.
