"I'm not sure I've ever seen a goal like it," Owen Hargreaves told BT Sport regarding Istanbul Basaksehir's opening goal against Manchester United on Wednesday.
Hargreaves was correct in more ways than one. It was the Turkish club's first ever goal in the Champions League group stages. For them, Demba Ba's strike was an historic goal.
It was also the type of goal you are more likely to see in injury time at the end of a game, rather than in the 13th minute.
United were high up the pitch for an attacking corner when Basaksehir hit them on the break. Inexplicalbly, they left no one at the back to mind the house with goalkeeper Dean Henderson.

"That's completely down to organisation," said Paul Scholes.
"Surely, you always have somebody back on the halfway line. You see Mick Phelan on the side pointing to Matic that he should be there. You're always goalside - one behind and one in front. It's like under-10s football.
"You can understand if it's last-minute, maybe, and you're going for a goal. This is after, what, 15 minutes - it's embarrassing. What the back four were doing, I have no idea."
The English side's defending for Basaksehir's second was also terrible.
"United have struggled with them attacking-wise," said Scholes.
"Defensively, with [the second goal], they're all over the place.
"Defensively, you've got to take more responsibility. You've got to defend one-v-one at times at Man Utd. They seem incapable of doing it."
Anthony Martial got a goal back for United late in the first half. The game finished 2-1 to the Turkish team.
