Manchester United are reportedly interested in acquiring the services of Declan Rice.
According to the Daily Star Sunday, the club has "officially declared interest" in the West Ham player.
Rice, who has made nine starts for West Ham in the Premier League this season, made his debut for the club at the end of the 2016/17 season. Now 19, he has steadily established himself as a first choice player at the club.
It's said that Jose Mourinho is "keen" on signing Rice. His ability to play at both centre-back and as a defensive midfielder would be an obvious draw.
Rice is amid contract negotiations with West Ham. Currently earning approximately £3,000 per week, he has reportedly been offered an improved deal worth £20,000 per week.
As these negotiations roll on, other clubs look to pounce for one of the Premier League's brightest prospects.
