A lot of tough matches
Dear Don,
Hope you're keeping well? What did you make of the whole Miley Cyrus fiasco? Also I was wondering what are your Fantasy Football plans given that there are four big teams playing eachother this weekend and Chelsea have no match at all?
Yours in waiting,
Glenn Whelan.
---------------------------------------------------------
Hi Glenn,
Pleased to hear from you. I'm a little upset that twerking will now be forever associated with young Cyrus despite the fact that I've been doing it on nights out for nigh on a year now. I've been trying to convince David Weir and Lee Carsley to do it every time Sheffield United score but they're having none of it.
As to your Fantasy Football question, it is indeed a very tricky weekend for managers. I had a Tony Blair last week so hoping for a big improvement. I think Man City players are obviously the way to go but expect lots of goals in the North London derby so also like the looks of a Walcott, Giroud and Soldado. Stay away from Sigurdsson if you know what's good for you. I've learnt that the hard way.
Thanks for your correspondence,
The Don.
The captain choice
Dear Don,
I'm trying to improve my eating habits to help me bulk up. Are there any foods you'd recommend? Oh and I've no idea who to captain this weekend. Any suggestions?
Looking forward to hearing back from you,
Peter Crouch.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Hi Peter,
Do you even lift bro? Haha, I joke I joke. Great to hear from you. Don Hutchinson is a big fan of healthy eating and I love to visit protein city on a daily basis. I would recommend at least three chicken breasts a day, some turkey mince, broccoli and a food that's as underrated as Lee Chung-Yong: baked beans.
Now the trick with the broccoli is to buy the loose florets and rip the big stem off before going to the till. It will weigh less on the scales so will save you a few pound. ;)
With regard to the captain choice, there is great potential for a few points to be made. Dzeko or Aguero are the obvious choices but there are lots of other options. Papiss Cisse could get Newcastle out of a rut against Fulham and the likes of super Rickie Lambert, Kevin Nolan and perhaps even Michu look good outside punts too.
Hope this helps Peter,
The Don.
Any cheap defenders?
Dear Don,
I having some confidence issues of late. I have no faith in myself and I was wondering have you any advice on how I can turn my life around? Also are there any cheap defenders I can buy to leave more money to invest further up the pitch?
A deeply troubled,
Charlie Adam.
------------------------------------------------------------
Hi Charlie,
I get the sense that you're caught in the captivity of negativity. Have you tried getting really drunk? That usually helps.
With regard to cheap defenders, Southampton are the club to look at. I was lucky enough to have Luke Shaw on the first day of the season when he got 12 points. However his price has now risen to £4.7m and he was taken off at half-time the last day. If I was you I would have a look at Calum Chambers at £4m and also keep an eye on Nathaniel Clyne, who's coming back from injury, at £4.5m.
Make the rest of your life the best of your life Charlie,
The Don.
