One of Manchester United's many loanees plying their trade in the lower-leagues of English football, goalkeeper Dean Henderson was the victim of a shocking move by Lincoln City's 'big man' Matt Rhead.
Playing for Shrewsbury Town in the Checkatrade Trophy Final in Wembley, there was little time gone in the game before Henderson found himself on the receiving end of a shocking challenge from Rhead.
Driving his elbow under the chin of Henderson, this angle demonstrates that Rhead appeared to know full well what he was trying to do.

Incredibly, Rhead only received a yellow-card for the hit, and, to his credit, Henderson continued on.
Hard to defend that challenge on Dean Henderson.

The big man should be off. Knew exactly what he was doing

Big admirer of the Cowley brothers but hope they condemn that assault by Rhead on @deanhenderson

People say goalkeepers don’t get enough protection... that ‘foul’ on @deanhenderson is ridiculous and should be a straight red!!!

Absolutely blatant forearm into the goalkeepers throat from non-league striker Matt Rhead. Luckily Dean Henderson is OK. Only a yellow for that twat. #Salop
