It's hard to believe that less than a week ago Sean Dyche was still Everton manager. Since then, he's been sacked, Seamus Coleman co-managed a game, and David Moyes the man who originally signed Coleman for 60 grand has been re-appointed as the club's manager.
Fortunately, Coleman's first foray into management alongside Leighton Baines went well, with Everton claiming a 2-0 victory over Peterborough in the FA Cup third round.
The revered Coleman's place on the sideline provided a rare glimpse of hope for an Everton side who have been dogged by bad results this year, and currently sit just a point outside the relegation zone having won just three of their opening nineteen Premier League games.
While Baines' stint last week will see him join David Moyes on the sidelines until the summer, Seamus Coleman has no intention of stepping away from playing just yet. That said, Moyes was reluctant to shut the door on him eventually making that step.

David Moyes on working with Seamus Coleman in the future
Moyes first managed Everton in 2002, completing an eleven-year stint before giving up the reigns to become Alex Ferguson's successor at Manchester United. While that didn't quite go to plan, Moyes is now back at Everton to try save their season and ensure their first game in their new stadium is a top-flight one.
Speaking in his first pre-game press conference of his new Everton stint, Moyes revealed that he got plenty of pride in seeing Seamus Coleman and Leighton Baines stand up for Everton last Thursday evening.
