Romelu Lukaku's determination to leave Everton is set to pay off pretty soon, it's been reported today that he has agreed terms with another club. The identity of that club is largely believed to be Chelsea, despite Manchester United's interest.

Miguel Delaney of the Independent reports that, in spite of United's interest, Lukaku favours a return to Chelsea in a deal that the latter aim to seal at £80 million, although Everton want £100 million for the striker.

When the news broke that Lukaku would be leaving Goodison, Andy Castell - a pretty well-known FIFA Youtuber, and Everton fan - quoted the news and threw in a couple of snake emojis to express his dismay.

David Meyler, who's pretty good at football both simulated and realistic - replied, seeking a bit of clarity.

Meyler was then inundated, with plenty of Liverpool fans expressing their desire to sign him:

Although sadly, Meyler isn't too optimistic of it happening:

Meyler scored his first Premier League goal in a game against Liverpool, as Hull shocked a side featuring Luis Suarez 3-1 at the KC Stadium.

While a move to Liverpool is unlikely, a transfer of some kind isn't out of the question: he has just has one season left to run on his contract with Hull City.
