After the 'controvassy' that was John Terry's 27th-minute substitution, and David Moyes' bizarre admission that he was complicit in the circus that was Terry's farewell, Chelsea celebrated their fifth title in 13 seasons on the pitch at Stamford Bridge.
Terry's farewell speech took - by our estimates - a good seven to nine hours - but it was succeeded by some rather interesting interviews with Chelsea's title-winning players, Terry included.
Sky Sports pulled the curtain on their Premier League coverage for the season with a chat with a celebratory David Luiz - unquestionably one of the standout players in England this season, and vastly improved on his first spell at The Bridge thanks in large part to his deployment in a back three.
His resurgence and improvement was put to him by none other than Graeme Souness, who pointed out that 'we' - being pundits, fans, etc - would have associated Luiz with making mistakes during his first stint in England, but that the Brazilian had been near infallible throughout this campaign. He then asked Luiz, "Would you agree?"
Luiz's response was a very firm "I don't agree," followed by a perplexed look towards Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher - who at this point were absolutely cracking the shites laughing at how Luiz had casually put down their colleague.
Luiz then explained how, 'this eez futbol, no?' and how when you're winning, mistakes are more quickly forgotten than when you're not - a valid point. Souness at this point was presumably fighting his overwhelming urge to give the defender a belt.
Luiz's retort didn't go unnoticed, either, with plenty of fans enjoying his getting one over on Souness. There was a plethora of laughing face emojis involved - maybe even too many - but the consensus was that Luiz is a bit of a character, all right.
